THE IMAGES
I blurred them intentionally to get around the 'I can't draw' problem. The first image is just a picture of the dorm room regularly, but blurred 40-50 degrees. The second image... is kind of embarrassing. It's some very bad photoshop and some MS Paint editing, and it's probably better to show you - here. The original images are this stock photo and this Aira card (Serval's Nap; Unbloomed).

THE "VOICE"
Alright, so I've done a whole academic project about mimicking the 'voice' of a text and hope it at least helped with this fic. I'm subscribed to r/OutOfTheLoop so I think I got the tone right there, but I hadn't been on Twitter in a while so I jumped back on to see what was up. This is why the dates are centred around the current date and go into the future. I wanted to have the slang be 'current' enough while also showing the events as happening over a decent period of time. Hope it worked haha. Anyway, my account will probably still be active when I want to scream about EnStars to nobody in particular. @nothoughtssmile if you're interested.

THE HTML/CSS

  • Took 4 days to figure out, and IOS messaging was infinitely easier than Twitter. Reddit was slightly trickier than Twitter, but because I had a single Reddit post & comment compared to 9 Twitter threads... you get the picture.

  • There were a few hiccups with the twitter 'heading' formatting that ended up with me just deleting them. If you're noticing it looks different from the tutorial I used because of that... that's why.

  • Here's a glimpse of what the HTML looks like. Switching to Rich Text editing broke the Twitter threads so I was working with this the entire way through :')

THE PROFILE PICS

  • Took me several hours spread across 2-3 days ;^; Had to crop to perfect squares in MS Paint because the code distorted the pfp circles if they weren't, then pasted them into a private Discord server and used 'open original image' to get the links to them. Absolute nightmare.

  • I nabbed photos from other fandoms I've been in to add variety (know all excl. Storm from X-men) or an 'aesthetic' pic, and used an EnStars character RNG and the chosen character's 'Cards' page to select an image.

  • The usernames are inspired or randomised from a generator, with a few of my own usernames sprinkled in when I had a dip in creativity after a couple hours of creating usernames.

  • I tried to pick images for Twitter pfps that could feasibly have been from on-stage or from photo-shoots. Exceptions are, of course, Aira, Eichi, Rei & Ritsu, whose pfps are candid photos.

MISC. NOTES

  • - You can't tell me that Aira doesn't use jemoticons to text

  • - A bit of awkward editing in the AO3 Home Page pictures because I can't find the font AO3 uses on MS Paint, sorry :')

  • - I originally intended the AO3 inbox preview to have 20 messages like the actual one does, but that was too long, so it got clipped to 15.

  • - Off the top of my head, I remember making references to Bandori, ProSeka, MDZS, Vocaloid, X-Men and Hataraku Maou-Sama.
